The office junior will undertake a variety of general office administration and reception duties.

They will work closely with other members of the team to help maintain the smooth and efficient running of the office.

The Office Junior needs to be proactive in their work and show a high interest and engage fully in all tasks delegated to them by the Office Manager and Directors of GroundTherm.

Training will be an ongoing requirement enabling the Office Junior to learn all aspects of the work undertaken in the office and enable them to develop within the team.

Reception Duties_

  • Be the first point of contact for receiving and directing calls into the office in a polite and courteous manner.
  • Greet visitors into the office in a warm and welcoming manner.
  • Provide refreshments and service meetings.
  • Manage and sort both incoming and outgoing post.
  • Book couriers as and when required.

General Office Administration_

  • Be responsible for the filing of documents.
  • Understand confidentiality and practice this daily.
  • Photocopying/binding etc. as and when required.
  • Completing new enquiry forms.
  • Shredding confidential documents.
  • Sending quotations to clients.
  • EPC Research.
  • Sending out invoices as instructed.
  • Chasing payments for invoices as instructed.
  • General office duties.
  • ADHOC duties as and when required.

General Housekeeping_

  • Stock control for office consumables including pens, paper etc.
  • Checking and stocking kitchen supplies including tea, coffee, milk etc.
  • Ensure all work areas are kept clean and tidy.

Engineer Support_

  • Printing P-Touch labels for Engineers (training to be given).
  • Locating post codes & information for site visits.
  • Creating handover packs for final site visits.

Job Types:

From £14,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
  • Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)

  • English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (preferred)
