Production Operative

Working in our metal workshop you will primarily be cutting, knotching, punching, drilling and folding sheet metal, box section, tube and bar.

We will teach you the safe setting and operating of machines, including guillotines, knotchers, punches, chop saws, pillar drills and break presses.


Fabricating mostly in aluminium and stainless steel, you will produce components for our range of sign products and must have excellent attention to detail and an ability to listen and learn.

Some heavy lifting will be required.

You must have:

  • Positive work ethic
  • Attention to detail and pride in what you do
  • Flexible, can do attitude and a willingness to work in other departments if required
  • Health and safety awareness

Responsibilities:

  • Picking materials
  • Machine setting and operation
  • Fabrication of metal components
  • Quality checking materials and finished goods
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
  • Reporting to line Manager
This is an excellent opportunity to work for a well-established company in a clean and safe working environment. Full training, tools and PPE will be supplied.

From £10.50 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
