Your new role

  • You'll work on several projects in different sectors, managing & providing a range of building surveying / project management duties.
  • Assisting with the development of new and repeat business.
  • Managing the client relationship & service delivery.
  • Supporting the daytoday running of the business, you'll be involved with: Project management and Contract Administration duties for larger projects.
Condition and measured surveys. Designing & implementing small - medium sized projects.
Due diligence surveys.

  • Keeping abreast of industry issues & developments in best practice.
  • Experience in development of Bids & Bid management.
  • Acting as the primary interface with key clients.
  • Experience in sectors that includes: education, local authorities, health care, central government & infrastructure projects.
  • Defect analysis, undertaking building surveys & producing professional reports & specifications.
  • Mentoring & training junior Building Surveyors through the APC.
  • Understand the principles of quality, safety & the environment.
  • Delivery of both pre
- & post
- contract project management services.

  • Framework Management: Able to manage teams & deliver commissions under framework agreements.

Responsible for generating revenue from their framework to meet targets & maintain the day-to-day relationship with the client senior management.

Support the PM'sin the delivery of projects to ensure the clients requirements are delivered & fees are managed to achieve required operating profit.

Prepare competitive & timely fee proposals. Liaise with the client to understand the issues before formulising scope & fees.
Maintaina detailed orderbook & pipeline & share their resourcing requirements with resource managers.

What you'll need to succeed

  • BSc (Hon's) Building Surveying RICS Accredited degree.
  • A RICS status.
  • Solid all-round surveying experience & be client facing with work winning skills.
  • Experience of both pre & post contract project management responsibilities, & be able to deliver this service effectively to Clients.
  • Good team working skills & ability to communicate well at all levels.
  • Prepared to travel as needed.
  • Ability to manage & develop team members including mentoring of APC graduates.
  • Experience of managing clients & their expectations.
  • Full understanding of Health and Safety requirements.

What you'll get in return
- £60K +

This role is also offering flexibility, including part-time options.
This role also has the possibility of being hybrid.
