The role:
Working in the School of Life Sciences, you will contribute to the design, administration and delivery of Biomedical Sciences Education in the School of Life Sciences, Faculty of Health and Life Sciences.
The role broadly encompasses contributions to:
- Leadership of UG programmes, especially in the Biomedical Sciences.
¿ Leading of modules, including mentoring and supporting colleagues.
¿ Support for students' academic progress and wellbeing.
¿ Scholarly work that matches the School¿s priorities (e.g. discipline-specific life sciences research, major educational developments, pedagogical research).
All Teaching and Scholarship (T&S) staff are expected to contribute collegially to the School¿s development work as they relate to the priorities in the University¿s long-term strategic plan.
T&S staff may also work as teaching mentors, helping other colleagues refine their assessment and teaching methods.
