As the Knowledge Management Team Lead at servicePath, you will be expected to spearhead our efforts to maintain and enhance our knowledge platform. Your role will focus on promoting efficient knowledge sharing and documentation with our clients and across our organization by ensuring we have a cohesive knowledge management platform. You will achieve this by leveraging your expertise in software documentation, SaaS applications, and Learning Management Systems. As a team lead you will be independently steering a small team which currently includes a Knowledge Management Specialist and a Technical Writer.

We are looking for a dynamic, forward-thinking individual with a strong background in knowledge management and a passion for leading and mentoring a team.

About the Job:

Role Objectives:

  • Knowledge Management
    • Lead the effort to manage, curate, and enhance the company's knowledge platform, including interactive guidance, knowledge repository and Learning Management Systems, ensuring accessibility and relevance.
    • Champion best practices for creating, sharing, and updating internal and external documentation.
  • Software Documentation
    • Direct the creation, review, and update of documentation for our software products, collaborating with stakeholders across the business.
    • Responsible for creating a knowledge road map which ensures both new features and historic features are well documented and understood
  • Learning Management Systems (LMS)
    • Oversee the deployment, maintenance, and support of LMS systems, training staff on efficient usage.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork
    • Lead the knowledge Management team and be accountable for its deliverables end-to-end.
    • Collaboration with cross-functional teams, ensuring documentation and knowledge assets align with company needs and standards.
    • Mentor and support team members, including setting objectives and performance management of existing team members and onboarding of new members with relevant knowledge resources.
  • Training Delivery
    • Develop and deliver training sessions, collaborating with the team to create high-quality training material that aligns with company standards.
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices, regularly reviewing and updating the knowledge management strategy based on feedback.

Key Competency and Experience:

Minimum:

4-6 years of experience in Knowledge Management with leadership responsibilities.

Core Competencies:

  • Leadership in Knowledge Management with skills in Software Documentation, SaaS, and Learning Management Systems.
  • Strong background in training delivery and content creation.
  • Must appreciate the complexity and challenge of eliciting information about intricate systems from diverse sources.
  • Ability to lead and mentor a team, fostering collaboration.
  • Must possess the ability to establish trust and foster open dialogue.
  • Advance communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Capability to work remotely and manage a global team

Preferred:

  • Proficiency in using knowledge management systems and various Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Exposure to creative decision-making and project design roles.
  • Experience working in Global product based organizations.
