LIFE by Be Caring is in search of Support Workers to join the team focusing on learning disabilities in Newcastle and Gateshead. As a Support Worker, you will assist individuals in living joyful lives within their communities.

Ensuring personalized support that encourages independence, choice, and individual voices.

  • Pay: £ per hour (complex rate) (8am – 10pm) / £ per hour for 10-hour sleep-in support (10pm – 8am).
  • Mileage: 45p per mile (for drivers) / 20p per mile (for cyclists).
  • Providing 1-1 support.
  • No vehicle required as the individual has a mobility car.
  • Bonus schemes: up to £300 for new hires, £300 referral bonus, £300 yearly bonus. Also, receive a £25 birthday gift voucher.

As a Learning Disabilities Support Worker, you will be stationed in Lemington, aiding a sociable woman in her 70s to live a content life, engaging in activities such as dining out, coffee outings, shopping, bingo, dog walking, and trips. She enjoys crafting, arts, music, and values her appearance. Support her in acquiring independent living skills like tenancy management, cooking, and cleaning.

  • 2 Part-time Roles
  • 1 Full-time Role
  • Weekends worked on a rotational basis
