OVERVIEW

We are looking for a Post Production Coordinator for our in-house edits,based in Kew, London.
This is an office-based role supporting multiple production teams withall elements of their Post, across a wide range of deliverables for clientsincluding UEFA, BBC, C5, Channel 4 and major commercial brands.
The Post Production Coordinator is the central point of contact in theedit responsible for liaising with the in-house and freelance Editors, the Headof Post Production, Post Production Managers, Edit Assistants and all theprogramme editorial teams.
The role would suit a highly organised Production Coordinator used to workingin a fast-paced environment, working with multiple stakeholders and with theability to work on their own initiative and know when to refer up.
A key part of the role is taking responsibility for running the EditSchedule and booking all
in-house and freelance editors.
Aknowledge and interest in the Post Production process is essential, but we willconsider Production Coordinators who have not specifically worked in Post.
KEYRESPONSIBILITIES
· Provide direct administrativesupport to the production and edit teams
· Book editors andcheck availability on behalf of production
· Assist with schedulingof editors and resources based on editorial and operational requirements;highlight any clashes or gaps in the editing schedule
· Update and run theonline post production schedule and communicate changes to the teams
· Organise the editresources effectively and assist with forward planning alongside Production andthe Head of Post Production
· Assist the Head ofPost Production with finishing post when using external facilities
· Assist the Head ofPost Production to schedule project delivery and communicate to the team
· Provide basic reportson edit suite usage for financial/internal recovery reasons
· Administer the deliveryof key materials to Production Management or Broadcasters and highlight issues
· Implement and promoteequality and diversity in the team and adhere to Health and Safety policies
REQUIREDSKILLS & EXPERIENCE
· Excellentorganisational and time management skills
· At least two years ina creative content / production environment in a production facing role.
· Experience of workingin a pressurised environment with the ability to juggle multiple tasks
· Basic knowledge ofthe post production and production processes, but further training can beprovided
· The capacity toprioritise tasks and work under pressure
· Ability to workeffectively with others and manage relationships in a diverse team includingthe ability to manage up and provide positive and effective support to theeditorial
· A proactive attitudeto work and promoting a positive work ethic in the team
· Ability to work onyour own initiative
· Working knowledge ofExcel spreadsheets and schedules

Monday – Friday office based..
Whisper offers the option of flexitime hours. Whenweekend work is required, DOILS will be provided.
