Priory Hospital Hayes Grove is a private 46-bed acute psychiatric hospital for adults, located on the edge of London in Hayes, Kent.


Rated 'good' by the CQC in 2021, the hospital provides care and treatment for patients with a wide range of mental health issues both as inpatients and day patients.

Hayes Grove specialises in providing care for patients with acute mental health conditions, addiction issues - both drug and alcohol, and also has a specialist Eating Disorders unit and NHS acute service.

The hospital is situated close to excellent transport links to central London, Croydon and Bromley areas and parking is available locally.


The Hospital is situated in a leafy setting, with excellent public transport links to central London, Croydon and the surrounding Borough of Bromley areas.

Free car parking is available in the immediate vicinity of the hospital.


We are now recruiting for a newly qualified RMN/RNLD to work as part of the nursing team at the Priory Hospital Hayes Grove.

The applicant will take an active role in providing direct person centred care and interventions to patients, under the supervision of a Registered nurse, whilst being able to retain their professional accountabilities as a registrant, and co-ordinate the care given by colleagues.

This will be for a period from months, until a series of competencies have been achieved and signed off.

The post holder will deliver high quality, safe nursing care, ensuring consistently high standards of practice and clinical excellence which comply with the Nursing and Midwifery (NMC) Code.

The role includes leading the delivery of a comprehensive patient nursing assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of person centred care in a collaborative way, of both their mental and physical healthcare needs, maintaining the patients' rights; working collaboratively with the MDT and maintaining a safe and therapeutic working environment and accurate records

Applicants should have the following experience/qualification

:

  • Qualified Registered Nurse (RMN/ RNLD) with active NMC Registration
  • Knowledge of NMC Standards, guidelines, requests and professional practices
  • Demonstrates a positive attitude and commitment to change, improvement and quality
  • Ability to develop and use flexible and innovative approaches to practice
  • Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills
  • IT literate
