The Operations Director will lead and manage a highly successful team who have a wealth of knowledge and expertise, designing and delivering courses based upon employment trends and local needs.


Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manage and motivate a team to deliver outstanding teaching and learning
  • Contribute to strategic planning, identifying opportunities for business growth

  • Implement contracts, identifying resource requirements, potential opportunities, and risks

  • Motivate and support team members in achieving targets and raising attainment level
  • Participate in the identification of personnel requirements and staff recruitment
  • Undertake staff appraisals and reviews of performance, implement improvement strategies, identify staff training needs and share best practice
  • Ensure effective communications internally across teams and externally to employers and stakeholders
  • Build alliances and partnerships with other organisations
  • Undertake regular team meetings and forums to share information and ideas
