_Every moment counts. Every memory matters._ Come and join our Care Team and provide exceptional care and support to children with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions at our Hospice's and in the Community.

Our service is rated 'Outstanding' by the Care Quality Commission. Julia's House supports more than 140 families across Dorset and Wiltshire, in the community, at our hospices and in families' own homes.


You get the chance to spend time with children and their families, really getting to know them, and creating wonderful memories.

As a Care Team Member, you will be supported through an induction process, and provided with any specialist training needed, to provide a high standard of care to the children and young people we look after.

If you haven't already completed the Care Certificate, you will also be supported through this qualification as a requirement of the role.


To meet the care needs of our children and young people, our care provision is provided seven days a week, including school holidays, evenings, weekends and occasional overnights, and so flexibility will be required.

There are no set hours for contracted staff. Rotas are prepared at least 6 weeks in advance.


Ideally you will work a flexible week and, depending on your availability, could be offered between 20 and 30 hours per week on a permanent contract.

A full driving licence and use of a vehicle for business purposes are essential.

Julia's House is an award-winning children's hospice charity dedicated to bringing comfort and care to families across the two counties.

Each family we support is unique and so is the care we provide.

When a family finds out that their child has a very serious medical condition, which is life-limiting or life-threatening, their world falls apart.

Julia's House exists to help these children and their families.
