Our team of dedicated professionals work tirelessly to provide exceptional care and support to our families, and we are seeking a skilled and compassionate Care Team Member to join our team.

Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing holistic care and support to children and young people with complex health care needs. As a Care Team Member, you will work closely with our families to provide continuity of care, support and play, and will be involved in the planning and running of activity sessions.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide a high standard of holistic care, play and professional friendship to the child and their immediate and extended family.
  • Work flexibly alongside the families, supporting them in the manner that they choose.
  • Develop, monitor and maintain individualised programmes of activities in direct relation to the child's/young person's specific requirements.
  • Promote and maintain close relations and liaison with all Care staff.
  • Work within the appropriate regulatory bodies' regulations and help to maintain accurate records of methods, evidence of policies and the monitoring of procedures for inspection.

Essential

  • NVQ 2/3 in Care Safeguarding Awareness Level 1.

Desirable

  • Community based experience Sure Start, portage.
  • Experience of working within a play-setting.
