Term Time Youth Support Worker

We are looking for someone that is energetic, enthusiastic, and passionate about positive outcomes for young people. Someone who is able to set clear and consistent boundaries to enable young people to reach their full potential.


You may work with young people that have experienced trauma, so we are looking for somebody with a restorative approach, that has compassion and empathy.

We provide professional external supervision monthly as well as regular one to one meetings with your manager.

This post is term time only, Monday to Friday. Due to the nature of the work, no holidays will be permitted during term time.

Skills/qualities required:
The ability to think creatively and generate ideas and opportunities to integrate regular activities into young people's daily routines.


Be reliable, conscientious and able to work effectively in a team, maintaining a professional approach to work at all times.

Ability to build good relationships with young people to achieve positive outcomes.

A top-notch communicator with good written communication skills


Have a flexible work approach, to be able to think outside the box and adopt creative and engaging means to work with the challenges presented on a daily basis.

Youth work and safeguarding qualifications would be desirable, although training will be given, safeguarding training is a mandatory requirement.


Full driving licence and use of own transport is essential as your work will involve transporting young people, that you work with.


This is a term time position, Monday to Friday 8.30am to 3.30pm. Due to the nature of the work, no holidays will be permitted during term time.

Rate of pay - Is calculated on a pro rata basis which equates to £11.50 per hour
