We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to join our team.
As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring the timely delivery of goods and services.
Your expertise in supply chain management and logistics will be crucial in maintaining an efficient procurement system.Duties:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet organizational goals
- Source and evaluate suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery requirements
- Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to ensure favorable pricing and terms
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to maintain optimal stock levels
- Manage the procurement process from requisition to payment, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
- Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and stay updated on industry trends
- Resolve any issues or disputes with suppliers in a timely manner
- Utilize systems such as Oracle EBS to track and manage procurement activities
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Procurement Specialist or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, including sourcing, negotiation, and contract management
- Proficiency in using procurement software systems such as Oracle EBS
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to make datadriven decisions
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Detailoriented with excellent organizational skills
