What does the role look like?
We've recently signed off on a newly created role

  • DE&I and CSR Partner. In this exciting role you will contribute to our mission of fostering a work environment where people feel safe, valued and supported, contributing to a better society. Reporting directly into the DE&I and CSR Lead Actuation Systems you will support from a UK remit.

What will your day-to-day responsibilities look like?

  • Develop and execute a local DE&I and CSR strategy, working with leaders, HR and the organization to drive accountability and tangible results, listening to and understanding feedback from employees to shape plans and interventions
  • Research and promote local DE&I initiatives (e.g. _panel discussions, external speakers._), events, training and learning that will advance employees' understanding of diversity, equity and inclusion
  • Partner with the HR team to embed DE&I across the employee lifecycle (talent acquisition and development, compensation and benefits, etc.) and develop strategies to attract, retain and develop a diverse talent pool.
  • Support ERGs in delivering impactful initiatives and foster collaboration and synergies among them
  • Identify and manage partnership with external partners such as charities, NGO and community groups, initiating collaboration on employee volunteer opportunities and charitable activities
  • Communicate and lead the company's social responsibility and community initiatives, including corporate giving, sponsorships, matching gifts and volunteerism, serving as an internal and external advocate
  • Reporting and analysis of data on DE&I and CSR to make appropriate measurement of progress and identify specific areas to address

Essential skills:

  • A commitment to promoting diversity equity and inclusion and true passion for making a positive impact on our communities
  • A proven track record of planning & delivering successful internal and external Diversity & Inclusion and CSR events & related projects
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to challenge, partner and influence all our stakeholders and be collaborative

Desirable skills:

  • Organisation and project management skills to manage multiple deliverables
  • Ability to manage cultural changes
  • Experience as a DEI and CSR practitioner on an array of topics including resources, tools, best practices and connections with a varied set of people from the public and private sectors, communitybased organizations, nonprofit and civic leadership
  • Cultural sensitivity and integrity
  • IT and MS Office skills, specifically PowerPoint and Excel
