Warehouse Operative - 4 on, 4 off shift rota

We are in need of a Warehouse Operative to join our team. The chosen individual will handle receiving, storing, and distributing products within the warehouse. This role involves moving goods on heavy cages, so it's quite physically demanding. Expect lots of lifting and carrying tasks. Moreover, maintaining accurate inventory records, proper labeling, and correct storage of all items are also part of the responsibilities. The Warehouse Worker will also engage in picking and packing duties. We seek a candidate with a strong work ethic, keen attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

This position offers steady work with a chance for temp to perm transition for the right candidate.

Shifts:

  • 4 on, 4 off rotation starting at 0700 hours, with each shift lasting a minimum of 11 hours.

Requirements:

  • Good written and spoken communication
  • Excellent numeracy skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Maintaining a clean and professional demeanor always

Responsibilities:

  • Receive, unload, and store incoming goods
  • Pack and label outgoing goods
  • Maintain accurate inventory records
  • Ensure a clean and safe work environment
  • Follow instructions diligently

The Pay:

  • PAYE

£12.65 hourly rate

  • Minimum 11 hours paid per day
  • 4 on 4 off shift pattern
