Role Overview:
As the Finance Manager, you will oversee the UK financial operations within a renowned global enterprise.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities:

Finance Functions Management:
Oversee all finance functions, policies, and procedures.

Process and Control Management:
Manage finance processes and controls to ensure compliance with group guidelines and UK Accounting standards.

Compliance Assurance:
Guarantee adherence to IFRS and local GAAP regulations.

Core Duties:

Team Leadership:
Lead the UK Finance team, consisting of two Finance Assistants, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

Audit Coordination:


Act as the main liaison with external auditors, ensuring smooth and timely completion of statutory accounts, and thorough review and consolidation processes for audits.


Month-End Coordination:
Manage month-end processes and produce monthly and quarterly management accounts.

Financial Analysis:
Conduct P&L and Balance Sheet variance analysis to support financial performance insights and identify cost-saving opportunities.

Balance Sheet Reconciliation:
Perform monthly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, enhancing controls and processes impacting P&L and Balance Sheet.

Business Planning Support:
Assist in the preparation of annual business planning cycles, budgeting, and forecasting.

Tax and Compliance:
Complete quarterly VAT returns, import duty payments, P11D, and PSA preparation and submission.

Intercompany Transactions:
Handle intercompany transactions and reconciliation .

Financial Management:
Oversee banking, cashflow, expenses, accounts payable, and basic facilities, including contracts and car fleet.

Statistical Reporting:
Complete required business surveys and statistical reports.

Board Advisory:
Provide best practice advice to the board, influencing and enhancing company processes and procedures.

Team Development:
Coach and support direct reports, implement tools to achieve goals, and conduct team meetings and performance appraisals.

Customer Service:
Ensure exceptional customer service through the finance team.

Ideal Candidate:
We are seeking a fully or partly qualified ACCA or CIMA professional with substantial experience as a Finance Manager.

Remuneration

Salary:
up to £55,000 (depending on experience)

Hours 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday) – 8:30am – 5pm (1 hour lunch)- flexibility
Office based
Pension Scheme
Bonus payment of up to 10% subject to personal and company performance. (will need to have started before the to qualify for this year's payment)
25 days holiday– plus bank holidays.
Private Medical, Cash Plan and Life insurance available after the probation period.
