Summary As the Welcome Service Assistant, it's your role to ensure that every aspect of our visitor's experience is going to be a delight.

We encourage enthusiastic flexible people who are willing to support one another across the whole portfolio to apply.

This role is based on annualised hours, where the amount of hours you work each month may vary, however your salary will be paid in 12 equal instalments over the year.


What it's like to work here The outstanding art collection is one of the main attractions to this beautiful Italian-inspired mansion.

As one of the National Trust's 'treasure houses', the 45 strong team have exciting times ahead as they embark on major conservation projects to preservethis 8,500 estate and its rare collection of artefacts.

A Japanese garden and tearoom and community growing spaces are also among the key attractions at Kingston Lacy. The property has a rural location, so it's likely you will require your own transport toget here.

What you'll be doing As the largest conservation charity in Europe we work hard to raise funds, so that we can continue to care for all the heritage in our trust.

Visitors are a vital part of what we do, so you'll be responsible for ensuring that you providean excellent service to all our visitors.

You'll also be responsible for answering queries and making sure visitors can find everything they need for their visit.

When interacting with our visitors, you'll advise them of the outstanding work we are doing andwhat their money is funding, promoting local projects or our national strategy.

Happy working alone, outdoors and on your feet in all weathers, having a flexible attitude to moving between sites; You'll identify tasks, prioritise your time and check in with the team.

You'll be diligent and take pride in looking after the daily operationand presentation of the place you work every single day.
