Job Introduction

Are you ready to join our dynamic team as a Transport Administrator at our Head Office Distribution Centre in Liverpool? In this role, you'll be the linchpin of our Transport Department, providing essential administrative support to keep operations running smoothly.

From managing inquiries and producing reports to prioritizing tasks and ensuring compliance with industry regulations, you'll play a pivotal role in our fast-paced environment.


We're seeking a proactive individual with a keen eye for detail and the ability to thrive in a high-pressure setting.

You'll need prior experience in administrative support, preferably within the Transport industry, and a solid understanding of relevant regulations such as the Working Time Directive and EU Driver rules.

Excellent communication skills are a must, as you'll be liaising with a diverse customer base and collaborating closely with our transport team.

Job Overview

  • Maintain all office administrative duties
  • Complete reports and all required documentation within set timeframes
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Transport team
  • Manage own workload and provide support to others when needed
  • Complete administrative tasks and reports as requested by the Transport team
  • Effectively prioritise workload and impart good judgement
  • Maintain all filling and data input duties
  • Adhoc duties within reasonable remit of skill set
Minimum Criteria To Apply

  • Comprehensive administration support experience in a fastpaced environment
  • Proficiency in Transport industry knowledge, including familiarity with regulations
  • Experience of the Working Time Directive & EU Driver Rules
  • Strong communication skills for diverse customer interaction
  • Taskoriented, reliable, and detailoriented
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively to meet deadlines
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, and Access database
  • Experience with transport systems like Microlise is desirable

Package
- £25,200 per annum

any 5 days out of - 5.6 weeks paid holiday per year including bank and public holiday allowance rising to 6.
