Job Summary:
Band 3 Patient Flow Co-ordinator 30 hours per week based at the Cumberland Infirmary, Carlisle. Seeking a Patient Flow Co-ordinator for the A&E Department to assist in patient flow coordination, liaising with staff, multidisciplinary teams, GPs, and hospitals.

Main Duties of the Job:
  • Assist with the flow throughout the Emergency Department
  • Ensure notes are copied and ready for transfer
  • Facilitate transfers throughout the hospital
  • Facilitate transfers to other hospitals
  • Answer telephone and relay messages
  • Ensure correct data entry on Symphony system
  • Work alongside nurse in charge for smooth department running
  • Arrange transport
