Main Purpose

  • Participle in the daytoday operation of the Accounts Receivable function ensuring compliance with group procedures.
  • Assist the AR Team Leader in the development and implementation of continuous improvement to the Accounts Receivable process.
  • Assist AR Team Leader with the implementation of agreed process changes for the Accounts Receivable function within First Shared Services (FSS)
  • Build strong customer relationships, focusing on quality service within the team.

Core Responsibilities

  • Allocate payments made by BACS/cheques against relevant invoices.
  • Liaise with internal and external customers to resolve queries.
  • Raise invoices and credit notes
  • Investigate and clear unallocated cash promptly.
  • Maintain debtor accounts with up to date details.
  • Liaise with Banking Services regarding payments received.

Monthly:

  • Update month end aged debt spreadsheets in line with timetable.
  • Issue customer statements.

General:

  • Standardisation of processes/scope
  • Support in all areas of the Service Centre as & when required

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE

  • A minimum of 6 months experience of credit control
  • Previous experience of SAP system D
  • Experience of working in a highvolume environment
  • Experience of working in the Service
