ROLE OUTLINED


You will be responsible for managing the system receipting of all incoming goods into the warehouse which requires a meticulous approach.

In addition, you will be responsible for liaising with suppliers in relation to delivery timelines and raising any queries with regard to purchased stock.

This role also works in conjunction with the Returns department and you will be responsible for maintaining absence cover.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for the receipt of onsite delivery of products.
  • Ensure all relevant system bookings are updated with the required input to reflect current status.
  • Manage suppliers with regard to booking in delivery timeslots.
  • Maintaining quality control on goods in, recording damaged and missing stock and following through with suppliers for resolution.
  • To manage the daily stock adjustments process and update systems.
  • Liaise with suppliers with regard to faulty product and to organise for them to be on site, minimum monthly to review faulty products and agree status.
  • To assist with resolving any stock discrepancies.
  • Ensure mistakes, inaccuracies and discrepancies are highlighted as they occur to facilitate a resolution.
  • Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes, practices and productivity.
  • To work closely with the Returns Administrator to understand processes and procedures and to assist whenever required, including absence cover.
  • Manage calls, written and verbal correspondence in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Handle all requests and queries appropriately.
  • Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.

In addition to the responsibilities listed, the jobholder is required to perform other duties assigned by a Director/Line Manager, from time to time.

However, such other duties must be reasonable in relation to the employee's skills and ability.
