Yeovil, Somerset, United Kingdom Screwfix Full time

Overview
It's a great time to join Screwfix.

Thanks to the hard work of our team and record-breaking sales, we're proud to be one of the fastest-growing retailers in the UK.

And we want to pass that growth onto you.

Whether you're in procurement, digital, marketing or finance, there's a role here for you.

Reporting to the Director of Supply Chain, you will provide administrative and business support to the Director of Supply Chain and Senior Supply Chain managers including project support, presentations, meeting management and cross functional communication, along with work within the Supply chain leadership team including data analysis, project support and a range of supply chain activities as required.

We believe that a hybrid, flexible working approach offers you - and your colleagues - the best of both worlds.

Face-to-face collaboration is an integral part of our warm, friendly culture, so you'll work from our head office three days a week, working flexibly around our core working hours of 10am-3pm.

Beyond that, how, when and where you work is up to you.

With a subsidised canteen, free parking and a comfortable, relaxed environment, we've worked hard to build an office you'll want to work in.

We also know that, when it comes to school pick-ups and home deliveries, it's nice to have the flexibility to do both.

Key responsibilities
-
Calendar Management: Scheduling appointments, meetings, preparing agendas, taking meeting minutes, and following up on action items and events for the Director of Supply Chain and where necessary the Senior Supply Chain managers - ensuring that calendars are up-to-date and organized.
-
Task and Project Management: Assisting with task and project management by tracking deadlines on behalf of the Director of Supply chain and Senior management team, coordinating activities, and ensuring that projects progress smoothly and all key deadlines are adhered too.
-
Planning and Coordination: Assisting in the planning and coordination of events & conferences, workshops, and other meetings, including venue selection, catering, and logistics.
-
Travel Arrangements: Making travel arrangements such as booking flights, accommodation, and transportation for business trips, and preparing travel itineraries. Manage expenses & other admin tasks where necessary for the Director of Supply Chain and Senior Supply Chain managers.
-
Relationship Building: Build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues, and other cross functional stakeholders.
-
Actively work on own development, focusing and agreeing key quarterly objectives with Line Manager - reviewed and discussed during 1 to 1s and quarterly check ins.
