Looking for a live out carer for a 75-year old gentleman in Bangor.

5 days per week with one/2 overnight stay.

Duties to include:

  • All aspects of personal care in the morning:
  • showering
- assistance with incontinence needs & going to the toilet
- helping to dress / undress

One or two nights a week to assist him shower and get ready for bed - possible overnight stay.

  • Medication management: prompt meds at 11am 2pm and 5pm
  • Application of creams and observing skin for changes or breakdown
  • Preparation of breakfast and lunch
  • Taking the gentleman for walks, to the shops and to the community hub to attend various classes
  • Keep up with the social program
  • Parkinson's group
- chair yoga
- choir
- chest heart & stroke
- community cafe
- gardening

  • Some housekeeping and various ad hoc errands
- washing
- ironing

If you are not local, they will provide private accommodation near their home.
