What you'll be responsible for:

  • Provide an efficient and effective administrative / secretarial service to the team.
  • Provide a comprehensive reception service to all incoming visitors and Trust appointed Maintenance Contractors.
  • Provide a full range of administrator duties to the team including, but not limited to the following:
  • Diary Management
  • Minute taking
  • Distributing meeting papers in a timely manner.
  • Provide support to the Helpdesk service as and when required.
  • In conjunction with the Estates Officer (Information & Finance) maintain the department's information system, including specialist projects to enhance the reporting ability of the department's information system.

You'll learn the following whilst working at the trust:

  • An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS
  • Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times
  • A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation

You'll have the following skills/experience:

  • Excellent communication skills
- both verbal and written

  • Microsoft office skills
  • Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
  • Previous NHS experience
  • Previous payroll experience
  • NHS System Knowledge
  • Knowledge of writing minutes
  • This role may require you to show evidence of education to Degree level or at least 2 years relevant experience._
