Salary:

Salary starting at Grade 6 (£17.44 per hour, inclusive of London Allowance) Contact hours are paid at a multiplier of 2.

5 basic hours, with annual leave accrued and paid in April, July and December)

About the role


Our Department has a vacancy for a fixed term Graduate Teaching Assistant to support with the teaching and delivery of the module Curating the Sacred: Buddhism and Hinduism on Display (15PARH069).


Tasks may include supporting teaching, delivering lectures, leading seminar/tutorial groups, course preparation and administration, marking and other tasks deemed necessary by module convenors.

Graduate Teaching Assistant positions may also cover more than one of the above listed modules.

Please note that all opportunities are dependent on student enrolment. At this stage the Department cannot guarantee that all the above Modules will require fractional appointments.

Payment will generally be made over a period of ten, seven or four months according to your teaching and marking responsibilities.

Annual salary will be calculated based on the number of contracted hours.
