The Hull City Council Public Health Team are looking to recruit a Grade 7 Health Improvement Officer (Fixed-Term).


The successful applicant will work within a broad programme of work comprises of health improvement areas including Tobacco, Healthy Weight, Food, Physical Activity, and the wider determinants at place including climate, planning and sustainability.

Reducing the impact of health inequalities on health and well-being will be a key priority and the post holder will work on the Healthy Places programme across the city and directly engage with local, regional and national networks to support whole system approaches, share best practice, and help develop innovative approaches.

This post is fixed term until 30 September 2024 to cover for secondment
