Job summary

An opportunity has arisen for an individual with strong leadership qualities to lead the Rapid Access Care Unit (RACU) team on a day-to-day basis supporting them with the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care.

The multidisciplinary team (MDT) provide timely comprehensive and integrated assessments and interventions for adult patientswith sub-acute urgent healthcare needs as an alternative to secondary care admission where appropriate.

We are looking for a positive, motivated, committedclinician who will lead, support and develop the team and contribute to further service developments.

Main duties of the job

The clinical lead will take responsibility for the quality and effectiveness of care delivered by the multidisciplinary team and other agreed areas of the service.

To act as a visible clinical leader by actively participating in and coordinating patient focused care

To contributestrategically to the development of the multidisciplinary team and its services

To be responsible for the day to day operational management of the Unit.

To support other senior Clinical managers in the management of patients and staff within the IICC pathway as required.

Job responsibilities

To provide strong clinical leadership to the Rapid Access Care Unit (RACU) team on a day-to-day basis supporting them with the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care.

The unit provides high quality, responsive care with an'ambulatory by default'approach to support the care closer to home agenda. The MDT teamcomprising of Medical staff, Nursing, Allied Healthcare professionals and Administration, work together with the patient to deliver a positive patient and relative experience.
