Information about the Role:
Working as a Care Team Leader at Hill House your duties will include the following:
- Your role will involve supervising and inspiring a team of dedicated Support Workers.
- Administer medication, conduct assessments.
- Ensure that care plans are kept up to date.
- Respect the dignity and preferences of the people we support as well playing your own part in establishing a home where everyone feels safe and confident to live their best life.
- Be involved and deliver daily activities to the people we support.
- Manage and help organise the duty rota.
- Carrying out duties as requested by senior management.
Information about the Service:
Hill House is a Mental health residential home that is situated in the West Midlands; we aim to provide a high quality, safe and personalised service that promotes choice, dignity, control, and quality of life for all service users.
Hill House is a large three-story town house situated in the outskirts of Birmingham; this Victorian property consists of 13 spacious bedroom areas that are developed in line with the individual's needs.
Necessary Experience or Qualifications to work as a Team Leader:
- NVQ 3 or above in Health and Social Care.
- Ideally 6 month or more experience as a Senior Healthcare Assistant / Senior Support Worker / Team Leader or Deputy Manager in Mental Health.
- Passionate about making a difference in someone else's life.
- Good communication skills.
- Able handle sometimes challenging situations.
- Fun, energetic and able to build relationships with many different people.
