About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Team Leader to join our team at Randstad Care. As a Team Leader, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of children and young people in our care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of Residential Support Workers to provide high-quality care and support to children and young people with complex needs.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive care plans that address the individual needs of each child or young person.
  • Ensure the efficient and effective operation of the home, maintaining a safe and positive living environment.
  • Champion children's rights, promoting equality and non-discrimination, and employing restorative practices to resolve conflicts.
  • Build strong partnerships with parents, family members, and other stakeholders to ensure the best possible outcomes for the children and young people in our care.
Requirements
  • Level 3 Qualification in Health and Social Care or a related field.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of Child Care legislation, children's home regulations, and quality standards.
  • Previous experience working directly with young people with challenging behavior or learning difficulties.
  • Good report writing and numeracy skills, as well as well-organized administration skills.
  • Able to relate to young people with empathy and committed to a high standard of childcare.
  • Strong motivational, management, and leadership potential.
