About the Trust

What you'll be responsible for:
- Meet and greet welcoming visitors in a courteous/prompt manner and check contact details are up to date.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on behalf of the line manager, colleague or team member, this may include GPs and other healthcare services.
- Answer calls and enquiries from service users, carers and other professionals; prioritising urgency and referring to the most appropriate party.
- Ensure KMPT standards are adhered to in terms of all communications and timescales when responding to any form of communication and ensuring the message is passed to the appropriate person or department.
- Development of documents e.g. letters and spreadsheets, slides, reports to KMPT branding/ standards.
You'll learn the following whilst working at the trust:
- An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS.
- Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times.
- A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation.
You'll have the following skills/experience:
- Minute taking experience
System knowledge
- RiO (desirable)
- Experience in a similar role
- Excellent IT skills
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Excellent organisation skills
Microsoft package knowledge
- Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
