ONQOR is a new agency group set to disrupt the agency landscape. Over the next 12 to 18 months, ONQOR Group is acquiring agencies across the UK, EU and US creating a 1,500 headcount full-service agency group.

Historically, the marketing industry has struggled with staff retention and staff wellbeing, but ONQOR Group's intention is to build a network of firms, servicing clients ethically and fairly, that prioritises staff fulfilment. Joe Kaul is the founder and CEO and is currently listed in Forbes 30u30 in Marketing & Advertising. His vision is to leverage proprietary AI technologies to maximise efficacy for clients, whilst ensuring all stakeholders are treated with respect and dignity. The fund is a family investment firm with over 100 acquisitions across eleven countries.

MAXX is one of ONQOR Groups' first public acquisitions. Based out of Newbury, West Berkshire, MAXX is a full-service agency with a history and reputation of maintaining incredibly long-standing relationships with clients and partners in the industry.

This role will work directly within the MAXX social media function but with strong links and opportunities within the wider group.

The Role

We are seeking a highly creative and organised Social Media Manager who knows how to get things done. As part of our growth, we are scaling our social department and capabilities and require a social native who can hit the ground running with proven success managing and growing accounts across B2B and B2C markets.

The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing social media strategies for our clients across various platforms, including Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok and more. The ideal candidate should understand social media platforms, trends, analytics, and content creation to drive engagement and growth for our clients' brands.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work directly with our Head of Social to deliver and execute social media strategies for a growing selection of clients
  • Create engaging content, including copy, graphics, and shot-form videos, to align with brand guidelines and target audience preferences
  • Monitor and analyse social media metrics to inform strategy adjustments and report on performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, videographers and account managers, to ensure seamless execution of social media campaigns
  • Stay up-to-date with social media trends, best practices, and emerging platforms to continuously improve the performance of content
  • Manage client relationships by providing regular updates, performance reports, and proactive recommendations for improvement
  • An ability to be flexible and use hybrid working to the benefit of you and your team

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in social media management, specifically with at least one previous role in a marketing agency environment
  • Proven and evidenced track record of developing and executing successful social media campaigns
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging for different audiences and platforms
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, Hootsuite, Later or similar social media management tools
  • Strong understanding of analytics tools and how to use them to inform strategy adjustments
  • Passion for staying current with social media trends, algorithms and platform developments
