The Role
We are now recruiting for an Administrative Assistant to join our Hexham office.

The main elements of this role will include:

  • Greeting clients / prospective clients / visitors in a friendly and helpful manner
  • Answering the telephone promptly with appropriate greetings and ascertaining their query, transferring their call to the appropriate colleague, or taking clear concise messages
  • Assisting with incoming and outgoing mail to meet the daily deadline
  • Recording special / recorded deliver mail, incoming cheques, and client records
  • Taking meeting room bookings and updating our shared Outlook calendar management system
  • Organising catering as and when required
  • Ensuring the meeting rooms and reception areas are tidy at all times
  • Assisting with database management as and when required
  • Completing any other general administrative duties as required
  • Exemplary communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Great timekeeping ability
  • Experience of using IT systems, and be competent with using standard Microsoft Packages (Microsoft Word and Excel etc)
  • Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills
  • Previous office / administrative working experience
  • A friendly manner when liaising with any colleague / visitor / client and ensuring they are made to feel comfortable when visiting Armstrong Watson premises
