We are looking for a Theatre Coordinator to join our welcoming and diverse team based at our Barlborough Hospital.

What you'll be doing:


You will have experience in healthcare or a busy administrator role, who also has excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to work under pressure.


Just as important though is your flexibility, belief in teamwork and your ability to use your initiative, follow instructions and prioritise a busy workload.


You will also have the ability to Identify any additional social care needs that may be required on discharge, risk assess and involve the carers in discharge planning.

To insure delivery of a high standard of care to our patients on Theatre Team and Patients, duties will include


Providing Theatre reception duties with include answering the telephone, communicating with various departments, to act as a gate keeper to Theatre.

You will ensure patient paper records are well maintained, present and up to date i.e. results available, daily NJR data entry.

Ensure all departmental paper documentation is available and well organised.


Keep an accurate record of theatre assets and ensure all equipment coming in is added to the list and any equipment removed from the department is taken off the list.
