The UK Marketing function is focused on supporting the strategic and revenue growth priorities of the Bank by delivering Fair outcomes for customers. The function focuses on understanding customers and the identification, development and execution of brand marketing strategies, campaigns and activities that support and strengthen the HSBC brand, support the drive for revenue and increase customer value and satisfaction in order to meet agreed targets and objectives at market level.

We have an exciting opening for a Marketing Operations Manager. This key role sits within the UK Marketing function, within the Paid Media DigiHub team. You will oversee activities across biddable (display/programmatic, paid search, paid social) channels which will help enable and facilitate smooth marketing operations, particularly focusing on tagging and tracking, reporting, optimisation, audience creation, and shaping data gathering process to generate valuable insights.

In this role you will:

·Lead and manage tagging and tracking infrastructure, overseeing the implementation, QA, and monitoring of tagging and tracking across the UK markets to ensure accurate data collection for paid media optimisation and reporting.

·Be responsible for driving new ideas/concepts and gaining stakeholder buy-in across the team

·Utilising various platforms (such as Content Square, Looker, CM360, Datorama) to conduct in-depth analysis, generates insights, supports paid media strategy and conversion rate improvement

·Manage programmatic/display channel activity, including strategy development, channel optimisation and maturity, compliance monitoring, testing and knowledge sharing with the team

·Manage or provides support on various MarTech related projects such as server-to-server integration, CDP migration, MMP onboarding to drive digital marketing maturity

·Audience creation and CDP management to enhance targeting capabilities, improve campaign performance and utilisation of 1st/2nd/3rd party data

Requirements

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

·Strong, proven experience working in digital marketing (paid media), preferably within AdOps or MarTech

·Strong knowledge of the ad-tech landscape and paid media/biddable channels – proven hands-on experience and expertise in Google Marketing Platform (GMP) and other paid platforms such as Meta, Amazon, Google Ads etc.

·Highly analytical and can gather and interpret data - turning data into actionable insights.

·Confident explaining complex technical information in easy-to-understand ways.

·Experience of working with Looker/Adobe Analytics/Google Analytics, buying platforms (programmatic, social, search) and tracking/tagging

·Capable team member and participant, able to solve problems individually or in groups and committed to personal development

·Commercial awareness and understanding of product profitability dynamics.

·Both spoken and written communication skills with experience of adapting your style and approach to the audience and message to be delivered.

·A comprehensive understanding of the regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements associated with financial services and experience of working within these
