We are looking for someone who is available to work 20 hours over 4 days between the hours of 7:45am-6:45pm Monday to Friday.
Flexibility is essential.
Key Skills
- Excellent face to face communication
- Excellent telephone manner
- Respect for patient confidentiality at all times
- Excellent IT skills
- Have the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Previous experience in primary care preferred but not essential We are looking for people that are flexible and able to help cover sickness and holidays in the team.
- Maintaining and monitoring the Practice appointment system
- Answer incoming phone calls and dealing with appropriately
- Dealing with the patient requests appropriately
- Data Entry into patient's records as necessary
- Processing of prescriptions
- Signpost patients to appropriate services
- Dealing with requests from patients, other team members and external agencies
- Handling of new and temporary registrations and patient documentation / information as required
- Manage queries efficiently
- Photocopy documentation as required
- Maintain a clean tidy, effective working area at all times
- Maintaining confidentiality at all times
- Other duties commensurate with role
Ford Medical Practice is a 6000 patient practice and pride themselves in being:
