Key Responsibilities:
- Content Creation: As the Communications Content Manager, you'll be responsible for producing high-quality written content across multiple platforms. This means crafting articles, press releases, blog posts and other materials.
- Strategic Communication: You'll work closely with internal stakeholders to understand key messages (Business, Tech, ESG etc) and develop strategies for effectively communicating them through written content.
- Multi-Platform Adaptability: Your written work should seamlessly transition across various platforms, maintaining consistency in tone, style, and messaging.
- Brand Voice Maintenance: Upholding the organisation's brand voice and values in all written communications is crucial.
- Collaboration and Coordination: Collaboration is key in this role. You'll liaise with cross-functional teams, including marketing, PR, and executive leadership, to gather insights and ensure alignment on communication strategies and initiatives.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in corporate communications.
Key Experience:
- Several years of relevant professional experience in corporate communications, content creation, or journalism.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt writing style to different audiences and platforms.
- Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in content management systems, social media platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strategic mindset with the capacity to think creatively and analytically.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organisation.
- Preferred degree in Communications, Journalism, English, or related field.
This is a maternity cover contract with three days per week in the central London office. The successful candidate should have a maximum of a one-month notice and be available to start a new role from July.
