We require a Production line leader to join our team.

This role will be varied, with a busy production schedule including operation and cleaning of production equipment to maintain hygiene standards; accurate completion of production documentation as necessary; carrying out in-process control checks and completing any other reasonable operational duties, as required for the role.

The company operates a single shift, and this is a daytime job hrs (Monday - Friday)

Scope of the role:


You will be working at our production facility alongside our current production staff who are responsible for ensuring delivery of planned production outputs.


You will be required to:

  • To lead, motivate and effectively manage a manufacturing team. This will include communicating closely and regularly with the staff in terms of job expectations.
  • Identify training needs in line with company procedures.
  • Ensure company processes and procedures are followed.
  • Sharing responsibility for the implementation and maintenance to the requirements of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Monitoring and driving efficiency on machines whilst overseeing that products are within specification.
  • Ensuring all daily machine safety checks are completed in line with the trained SOP's.
  • Set up the manufacturing equipment and process safely and efficiently.
  • Ensuring product changeovers are performed with mínimal downtime but in a safe and accurate manner.
  • Deliver a daily/weekly production plan which will mean working with planning team and operators on the line to ensure KPIs are in line with expectations and that all daily line performance boards are fully maintained.
  • Liaising with and reporting any issues to the production supervisor in a clear and concise manner.
  • Ensure the smooth running of the manufacturing operation.
  • Ensure Health & Safety standards are maintained.
  • Ensure the area meets required hygiene standards.
  • Maintain and sustain right firsttime batch culture, by following BOM's.
  • Ensure all waste management measures are being adhered to.
