A brilliant client of ours in the Financial services space is looking to hire a CMS Manager to assist with the running and optimisation of their Content Management Capabilities.

While the core accountability of this CMS Manager role is with managing thecurrent and future CMS / Website product roadmap, the remit extends into other digital capabilities:
Mobile app integrations, external, APIs, data integration to support personalised digital experiences, marketing services automation, and much more. This isa very hands-on role that requires significant experience with enterprise-level Content Management Systems, specifically Sitecore CMS

Some of the immediate exciting initiatives the person in this role will drive for this epic client include:

  • Rebuilding their global, multi-lingual websites onto a new CMS
  • Regional rollout of global branding changes that have been signed off
  • Marketing technology integrations
  • Setting up CMS taxonomy and personalisation engine
The chosen CMS manager will have the following day to day responsibilities

  • Day to day Website Management
  • Webmaster you will be the web master for this clients digital assets
  • You will be hands in terms of CMS editing on Sitecore CMS
  • You will provide expertise on CMS management within Sitecore (Sitecore 9.3 & Sitecore 10), working with IT teams to ensure websites uptime, performance and best customer experience at all times.
  • Coordinate access for CMS content editors, providing training and setting guidelines.
  • Support CMS editors with questions, troubleshooting and finding solutions for complex marketing requirements
  • Automation of repeated editing activities to achieve operational efficiencies
  • Identify opportunities for page speed & performance optimization, work with SEO experts to continuously adhere to best practices
  • Personalisation
  • Integrate Sitecore CMS with other data sources (e.g Salesforce) required for personalization
  • Drive the implementation of a taxonomy / content tagging solution
  • Work closely with the Snr Optimisation manager to set up the Sitecore personalization engine
  • Liaise with business stakeholders, external partners and development teams to drive automation initiatives: content reusage across website and CVM journeys, creative assets storage and maintenance etc.
  • Work with the Acquisition team and external agencies to ensure endtoend tracking
  • Advising capacity on best usage and integrations with optimization tool
To be successful in this CMS Manager role you will have the following skills and experience:

  • You will have experience building and managing websites with multiple web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, Web Services)
  • You have significant experience with Content Management systems (preferably Sitecore and AEM, or other enterpriselevel CMS)
  • You will be passionate about delivering technical solutions which enhance a businesses digital experience.
  • Experience in UX design techniques, Wireframing, IA and usability research techniques.
  • Experience with CRO tools (Optimizely) and methodologies.
  • Ability to prioritize work and features requests based on data driven insights.
  • A good understanding of SEO best practices.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence (nice to have).
