We are a very busy company specialising in wheel repair and refurbishment.

To continuously meet high demand for our services, we require a full-time Admin Assistant or Office Junior to join our team in Prestwick.


If you enjoy customer-focused work, have excellent verbal and written communication skills, are competent in the use of computers and other technology, thrive in a fast-paced environment and aren't afraid to get a little bit mucky then this could be the perfect role for you

Vacancy summary:

Main duties will include:

  • Answering the telephone.
  • Taking customer bookings and notes.
  • Using computers, tablets, phones, printers, scanners, cameras and any other technology/equipment as required to complete work tasks.
  • Invoicing customers.
  • Processing cash and card payments.
  • Occasionally making tea/coffee for colleagues or customers.
  • General housekeeping tidying and cleaning.
  • Collecting/returning trade customer vehicles and driving other company employees to/from trade customer premises.
  • Assisting other company employees and subcontractors in their duties.
  • Undertaking any required training.
  • Able and willing to work fulltime hours, between 8am and 6pm, to cover colleague holidays/absence.
  • Full (preferably clean) UK driving licence.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Physically fit enough to lift display wheels and lift or roll vehicle wheels.
  • Happy to assist customers outside in any weather conditions.
  • Experienced in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Competent in the use of computers, tablets and phones.
  • Hardworking and focused.
  • Able to multitask and prioritise tasks.
  • Able to remain calm and composed under pressure.
  • Friendly and polite.
  • Good numeracy skills, to accurately and confidently provide quotes, invoices and handle money.
  • Able to adhere to health and safety procedure and to safely perform cleaning duties.
  • Previous experience in a retail, customerfacing and/or office job role.
  • Good general knowledge of vehicle makes and models.
  • Knowledge of wheel finishes (i.e. painted, powder coated, diamond cut, polished, etc).

Salary:
Negotiable depending upon age, skills and experience.
