An exciting new role that has become available with a UK leading EMS management company. Based in Stoke-on-Trent this company manufacture pumps for waste plants across the UK.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Produce and administer purchase orders
  • Supplier liaison to ensure best cost practices
  • Document control for stores and procurement
  • Scheduling of parts to ensure they meet deadlines and customer requirements
  • Maintaining a healthy stock level to meet customer requirements
  • To ensure documentation certificates, test certs and material certificates are filed per job with clear tractability
  • Issuing and allocating of parts onto the sage system

Skills and experience

  • Must be qualified in purchasing practices
  • Must have a full understanding of the sage system
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate internally
  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
  • Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
  • Ability to manage workload to achieve set goals
  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with EMS practices.
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with EMS contract requirements
  • Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly.
  • Must dress smartly
