Trainee Insurance Administrator
We are seeking an ambitious, enthusiastic individual to join our office based team at Ferndale Insurance Services Ltd.

The position is a full time Insurance administration role which will include handling claims and renewals, answering the telephone as well as general office duties.


  • Be confident when answering the phone, a good telephone manner is essential
  • Be able to accurately file
  • Have a willingness to learn
  • Be computer literate with a good knowledge of Microsoft office (i.e. Word, excel)
  • Demonstrate good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Be friendly, hardworking and be able to work as part of a team
  • Studying for CII exams is expected (unless the qualifications are already held) fees/course & exam costs will be paid for by Ferndale
  • A background or knowledge of insurance would be an advantage but not essential
  • Comply with FCA & PRA rules and regulations for insurance broking companies
  • Obey COVID19 rules
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual to build knowledge in the insurance Broking sector. Full training will be given.

Benefits:

Holiday - 20 days per annum plus bank holidays

Option to opt into the Nest pension scheme

Ferndale will fund the Cert CII exams as part of the package (this would begin a year after working in the office)

Salary dependent on experience (starting at £20,000.00 per annum)

Qualification Requirements:

  • GCSE Grades A-C / A Levels or equivalent
  • A background in business or an equivalent course would be an advantage
