Join Our Team as a Production Team Leader

About the Company:
This family-owned/run business has been creating quality tapes for over 50 years. Their commitment to Research & Design and advanced manufacturing technologies places them at the forefront of tape technology.
Salary: £16.75 per hour, with growth opportunities and review after 3 months. Annual salary of £34,840 based on 40 hours per week.
Hours / Shift Pattern:
*Enjoy an Early Finish on Fridays*
Week 1
Mon - Thurs 06:00-14:00, Fri 06:00-11:00
Week 2
Mon - Thurs 14:00 - 22:00, Fri 11:00-16:00
Initial training: 8am-4pm shift for 6-8 weeks before moving to rotating shifts.
The Role:
Support the Mix Manager and team to ensure safe, on-time mix production. Responsibilities include mix planning, stock management, training, and labor planning.
Main Duties:
- Ensure all team members follow safety regulations
- Efficient mix production as per plan
- Improve labor utilization through training and planning
- Organize raw materials and conduct regular stock takes
- Report H&S issues promptly
- Communicate effectively with all functions
- Enhance housekeeping standards
Qualifications & Experience:
- 5+ years in a fast-paced factory environment
- Proficiency in Excel and SAP
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Track daily activities and production accurately
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Quick learner with a passion for success
