This role presents an exciting opportunity for an experienced finance professional to join Aldermore's Business Partnering team - an integral part of the Group's Finance function offering fantastic learning and growth potential.

You will report to the Co

  • Head of Aldermore Group Business Partnering, and will act as strategic lead for the Structured & Specialist (SAS) division with responsibility for the delivery of impactful analysis to drive strategic decision making and driving continuous improvement of business partnering to key stakeholders.


In this role you will be required to advocate for the needs and priorities of the SAS business, whilst working collaboratively across Finance, Risk and the Business playing a key role in supporting and influencing business decision making to ensure Aldermore achieves its strategic objectives.

This opportunity would suit an individual who thrives in a challenging and changing environment and consistently seeks to deliver high quality analysis and support to senior management.


What will your day look like?

  • Support the SAS MD in running the division as a senior member of the team, through the provision of high quality financial information
  • Fully engage and participate in relevant leadership forums, including Quarterly Business Reviews with the CEO, providing a commercial, strategic view of the business, assisting it and driving performance through proactive financial insight and analysis.
  • Working with the senior management team, the Senior Business Partner will provide financial information and support on all aspects of the business, including but not limited to, budgetary management, regular forecasting, business performance analysis and management reporting.
  • Lead the annual budget setting exercise for the SAS division, challenging the Commercial Directors on their plans and advising on delivery of service in the most economic and effective manner. Ensuring that all plans are in accordance with the Group's strategic plan.

  • Strong financial modelling, analytical and commercial acumen
  • Commercially and analytically focused in order to drive improvements
  • Confident, proactive selfstarter with strong presentational skills
  • Keen interest in financial markets
  • Evidence of driving change throughout an organization or function
  • CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualified desirable (not essential)
