About the Job

We are looking for a Workshop Technician to provide support for a range of Professional robotics lawnmowers at our company. The position will mainly involve working in the workshop at Newton Aycliffe, with possible travel required when necessary.

Key Responsibilities

  • Repair and maintain our Robotic range of products and associated equipment
  • Offer telephone support to our service dealer network and maintain computer records
  • Assist with robotic lawnmower installations
  • Handle general technical inquiries, including our full range of machinery
  • Support the After Sales Manager, senior robotics technician, and the After Sales Team
  • Provide technical support on the Help Desk for our dealers
  • Evaluate and repair machines returned to the workshop, providing feedback on findings
  • Rework bonded products when necessary
  • Create technical support materials for product training
  • Communicate technical issues and status to Sales Teams
  • Assist with auto-mower installations and provide technical support

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in the industry with expertise in repairing small electrical equipment
  • Ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients and produce comprehensive reports
  • Qualifications in Math, Physics, or Engineering disciplines
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Valid driving license and passport for potential travel requirements

Additional Details

Location: Newton Aycliffe

Working Hours:

  • Monday - Thursday: 8:30am - 4:45pm
  • Friday: 8:30am - 3:00pm
