Citizens Advice Wirral, Wirral MIND and Wirral Foodbank are working in partnership on the Help through Hardship local programme, helping people who are facing both money and mental health problems to develop a support service which helps tackle both issues, together.

We know that there can be a vicious cycle between money problems and mental health. We want to help break that cycle.

Together, we aim to deliver a service where people experiencing both mental health problems and financial hardship can be supported in a joined-up way.

We are recruiting a Help through Hardship local Keyworker, who will be employed by Citizens Advice Wirral. The Keyworker will triage, assess and support people experiencing difficulties with both their financial and mental wellbeing.

The postholder will support the Project Development Manager in the pilot stage of the project to gather data and feedback about project delivery.


The postholder will have experience of dealing with people with different levels of mental health needs and have some knowledge of the welfare system.
