Teaching Assistant Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team in the Wirral area. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students in secondary and SEN settings, providing high-quality support to teachers and helping students achieve their full potential.

About the Role:

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to deliver engaging lessons, assist students with their educational and social development, and provide one-to-one or small group support for pupils who need additional help. You will also support children with SEN, where applicable, and help manage classroom behaviour.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting teachers in delivering engaging lessons and activities
  • Assisting students with their educational and social development

  • Supporting children with SEN, where applicable
  • Helping to manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment
What We're Looking For:
  • Experience working with children in school settings or similar environments
  • A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting students
  • Strong communication skills and a passion for education
  • An understanding of SEN is desirable, but not essential as training will be provided
  • A DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one through Teaching Personnel
