As a DevOps Engineer, you'll be part of a transformational team that will change the way technical solutions are delivered to operational policing.

As a DevOps Engineer, you'll join a new team of DevOps Engineers, working flexibly from home or from our offices in Birmingham or London.

Together, you'll support the development pipeline for national systems that underpin our operations to keep the country safe. It's an exciting opportunity to be part of a team that will support the development and operation of software.

The new team will support good development processes, including managing tools and testing environments, maintaining central code control, upholding development standards, and writing software that automates systems.

You'll deliver automated software components that form part of a development operations tool chain – an essential role in the team.

This is no job for a beginner – you'll need a solid background in software engineering or platform infrastructure support.

We're also looking for a proven track record in creating and maintaining DevOps or similar pipelines. And finally, you'll need a sound grasp of how testing works within a CI/CD pipeline, including automated testing.

This post requires access to the most sensitive intelligence material on a daily basis.
