Term Time Catering Assistant 20-30 Hours Per Week

As a Catering Assistant you will be

A) An enthusiastic and committed person you will be part of a team of people led by the Catering Manager. You will be responsible for serving to Staff & Students in our Junior, Senior Schools & Boarding House

B) Working 5 days per week at Lunctimes

C) Ensuring that the kitchen and service areas are clean and tidy

D) Ensuring health and safety regulations are followed

E) Maintaining outstanding levels of customer service, while working on a rota in various areas of the canteen

F) General cleaning of the food & service areas

G) Ensure that the kitchen, dining halls, equipment and utensils are all properly cleaned and correctly stored away

H) Maintain temperature control standards for all food & ensure that all personal and food hygiene procedures are applied at all times

I) Working school events & functions as required

Person Specification:

  • Previous experience in a similar role/environment
  • Previous catering or cleaning experience
  • Good communication skills written and verbal
  • Passion about food and good customer service
  • High standards and quality driven

Job Type:
Part-time

Part-time hours: 20-30 per week

Salary:
Up to £10.42 per hour
