Self London is a multi-award-winning expert-led dermatology, laser and lifestyle with a clinical team comprising two consultant dermatologists, a clinical psychologist and registered dietitian.

Together we solve skin challenges, looking beyond at the full picture to help our patients get back to feeling good and inspiring skin confidence.


We require a part-time clinic assistant to provide an exceptional meet-and-greet service for our luxury clinic, together with some general tasks to assist in running our practitioners' clinics.


JOB PARAMETERS

  • Monday and Friday (2 days per week), 09:0017:00.
  • Exact working times may vary according to business need; additional days may also be required occasionally, and there is scope to extend number of days in future.
  • Role will be covered by a service contract (ie, you would not be an employee of Self London).

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Morning preparation

  • Open up our premises in the morning.
  • Ensure premises are ready to receive patients (illumination, temperature, etc).
  • Check diaries and plan day.

Throughout day

  • Meet, greet and check in patients; show them to our (shared) waiting room on the ground floor and offer them refreshment.
  • Manage collections from clinic (patient prescriptions, pathology samples, etc), receive deliveries and liaise with thirdparty service contractors, etc.
  • Assist clinicians and laser technicians with procedures (in particular, laser treatments).
  • Take payment for product sales.
  • Liaise with PA team to coordinate ad hoc patient requirements.
  • General office admin, including printing of clinic stationery, arranging clinic stock (primarily consumables), etc.
  • Other tasks as needed to ensure the smooth and timely running of the clinic.

Weekly duties

  • Water plants where required.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Previous experience in a frontofhouse role in a luxury clinic, spa, hotel, or similar.
  • Excellent IT skills (MS Office focus).
  • Experience with laser procedures and basic medical terminology would be beneficial.

£15.00 per hour

Education:

  • A-Level or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:

  • Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)
  • Front of house: 1 year (preferred)
