Trusts and Philanthropy Officer Position at a Leading UK Charity

We are seeking a passionate fundraiser to oversee and expand a portfolio of small and medium-sized trusts and foundations. Additionally, you will assist the Philanthropy Team in enhancing the Major Donor program.

Location: Remote work in the UK. Occasional travel required for team meetings and work-related events.

Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week with flexible scheduling options available.

Salary: Approximately £30,000 annually with variations based on location.

Contract: Permanent

The Role:

As a Trusts and Philanthropy Officer, you will build relationships with existing and potential donors to raise essential funds for stroke survivors. Your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Achieving fundraising targets
  • Managing trust and foundation relationships
  • Coordinating funding applications
  • Conducting prospect research
  • Assisting with Major Donor cultivation

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience in trust and philanthropy fundraising
  • Proven relationship-building skills
  • Strong written communication abilities
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting targets
